As most of you know by now, I rely on my crock pot quite a bit to cook. Here is my hamburger soup crock pot recipe! I haven’t been able to find one specific to the crock pot online so this is what I came up with, try it out and see how you like it!
- 1 pound of browned ground beef
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 3 cups water
- 2oz package of dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 can tomato sauce
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 2 stalks of celery (chopped)
- 1 package of mixed vegitables
First you are going to brown your hamburger meat in a frying pan, the reason I did this is because I didn’t want my meat to be too soft since it is ground beef and I didn’t want it to turn into mush in the crock pot! Next you are going to chop up your celery, add all your ingredients to your slow cooker and start it on high for about 5 1/2 to 6 hours. That’s all there is to it! This is one of the quickest crock pot meals I’ve made as far as preparation goes and time to cook as well! It tastes super delicious and is great for these chilly months!
