Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup!

Since fall is upon us it’s time to bust out the crockpot, (my favorite kitchen item!) and whip up some hearty soups. One of my favorite recipes is this simple chicken noodle soup. It’s great for a rainy day, not too complicated and is one of my go to recipes.


  • 6 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
  • 2 cups of chopped carrots
  • 4 chopped celery stocks
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon of rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sage
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 cups of chicken broth/stock
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • About 3-4 cups egg noodles


First you are going to add your chicken to the crockpot, then add in all your chopped vegetables, garlic, olive oil, chicken broth, water, Rosemary, sage, thyme, celery seed, salt and paper to taste. Cook your soup on low for 6 to 7 hours, then shred your chicken once it’s cooked and tender. Add in your egg noodles and lemon juice then cook for another 10-15 minutes on high. It’s ready!

This is a great fall/winter recipe, because it’s warm and hearty. I love this soup and cooking in the crockpot, it is a busy moms best friend!
